Challenge Description

We recovered a damaged disk image from a compromised system during an ongoing investigation.

At first glance, it appears to be a normal filesystem… but something is wrong.

Several files seem to be missing, some data appears corrupted, and fragments of information are scattered across the disk.

Our analysts believe that critical evidence was intentionally hidden before the system was wiped.
