During a recent investigation, our team recovered a strange file named anthill.jpg from a compromised workstation. At first glance, it appears to be nothing more than an ordinary image of an anthill—something small, quiet, and insignificant… just like the ants themselves. But something doesn’t add up.

The system logs show unusual activity around the time this file was accessed. Network traces hint that data may have been quietly exfiltrated—hidden in plain sight, just like how ants move unnoticed in large numbers. Agents who inspected the file reported hearing something… faint. Almost like movement beneath the surface. Ants are known for their hidden tunnels, complex structures, and silent communication. Maybe this file works the same way.

Dig deeper. Look beyond what’s visible. Because in this anthill… nothing is what it seems.
