Duskfall

Duskfall is an easy Linux CTF machine inspired by a common real-world mistake: an anonymous FTP service exposing old account backup data.

Players must enumerate FTP, download a backup file containing password hashes, crack the valid user credential, connect over SSH, inspect sudo permissions, and abuse ed to escape to a root shell.
